Posted by Shayla Martin on Mar 7, 2018 11:51:29 AM

As college life winds down for so many students around the Bull City, they may be hit with the stark realization that the past four years have flown by, and there were so many activities they didn’t get to mark off their Durham checklist. We’re here to help. This graduation bucket list is everything you need to see, do, eat, and enjoy before making your mark on the world outside of Durham.

One bit of advice? Start now!

1. Attend a Free Outdoor Concert

Catch an outdoor shows at American Tobacco Campus and Durham Central Park. Or stay indoors and enjoy a concert at Motorco Music Hall, Beyu Caffe, or the Pinhook. See all upcoming concerts.

8. Go Bar Hopping

Visit (or revisit) some favorite Durham dive bars like Devines, Green Room, and Shooters II (and ride the bull of course), then toast to adulthood at swanky spots like Bar Virgile, Alley 26 Twenty Six, and the rooftop at The Durham Hotel.

9. Craft Breweries

Forget PBR and Natty Light – create your own Bull City beer crawl by stopping at Durham’s local craft breweries.

Take photos in front of iconic Durham backdrops like the Lucky Strike smokestack and water tower, the Pauli Murray murals, and Major the Bull. Check out this list of must sees for more photo op ideas.
